​About NIEPID:
NIEPID is an autonomous body under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. It provides national leadership in training, education, services, and research for persons with intellectual disabilities.

About DISHA Curriculum:
DISHA is a structured, uniform and certified curriculum designed to ensure holistic development and standardized quality education for children with intellectual disabilities across India.

About the CRE Program:
Ambika Sishu Kendra hosted a 3-Day Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) Program on the NIEPID DISHA Curriculum.

This workshop will equip educators to:
- Understand the unique strengths of each child
- Prioritize areas of support
- Develop appropriate and effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Ensure best possible learning outcomes and holistic development

Who all attended:
Special Educators, Rehabilitation Professionals, SSA Teachers, Parents and anyone working with Children with Intellectual Disabilities.

CRE Points: Will be awarded as per RCI norms. 18 Points
